Biography
Brianna Ferguson is a poet and short story writer based in the Okanagan. Her poems and stories have been frequently anthologized and published across Canada, the US, and the UK.
Her first full-length poetry collection, A Nihilist Walks into a Bar (Mansfield, 2021), was shortlisted for the 2022 ReLit Awards. Her second collection, Poor Substitute, was released by Acid Bath Publishing in 2024.
Since 2018, she has been teaching high school in Salmon Arm, BC, where she lives with her husband and pets.
